I enjoyed its amazing location next to the forest. Provided EFFICIENT service too. This place was reasonably priced.

The apartments at Alpine Homestead are cozy and beautifully furnished with handmade furniture. The private sauna - featuring both Finnish and Turkish saunas - is a standout feature. The food is excellent - with delicious traditional Slovenian dishes made from ingredients sourced from their own farm. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful, and the location in a green area with animals is perfect for relaxation.
Can just recommend.

We had a fantastic stay at this Alpine Homestead. The surroundings were stunning, with beautiful greenery and a peaceful atmosphere. The hotel's location next to the forest made it feel very remote and secluded, perfect for those looking to get away from the hustle and bustle of city life. The cleanliness of the rooms and facilities was impeccable, making our stay even more enjoyable. Additionally, the hotel had great facilities for children, including various animals that added to the experience and made it perfect for families.
Nothing, all was good.

The room at Alpine Homestead was cozy and rustic, with traditional wooden furnishings that gave it a charming and homey feel. As a solo traveller, I loved the warm and inviting atmosphere it created.
Personally, I found the lack of a kitchen in some units a bit inconvenient, but I understand that others may appreciate the simplicity and focus on experiencing local cuisine.

I always come back to this cozy place. Staff helped me with bug spray. It suits me perfectly. Wi-Fi, car park, kettle, kitchen utensils, TV room. No pets/smoking. Coming back for a city break. No regrets!

The room at Alpine Homestead had such a cozy feel with its traditional wooden furnishings. It made me feel right at home! Having a private bathroom with a shower was perfect for me. I didn't have to worry about sharing or waiting in line. It was nice to have a fridge and kettle in the room. I could make myself a cup of tea whenever I wanted.
Personally, I didn't really need a dishwasher and oven in the kitchen. It felt a bit unnecessary for my stay.

The location of the property was perfect for exploring the surrounding area. The option to have breakfast and dinner at the property was a great convenience. The food was delicious and varied, with different dishes each night. The room was clean and comfortable, and the shower was one of the best I've encountered during my travels.
The room was a bit small, but still cozy. The drive outside of the small village after sundown was a bit challenging.

The location was perfect for us, with the Pokljuka Ski Centre right at our doorstep. The kids had a blast skiing and snowboarding, and we enjoyed the beautiful scenery and fresh mountain air. The water park nearby, with its thrilling slides and pools, was another highlight of our visit. The staff was friendly and helpful, making sure we had everything we needed for a fantastic family getaway. We can't wait to come back!
My wife says that it would be great if there were more activities specifically designed for families with young children.

I recently had the most incredible stay at a hidden gem in the mountains. The setting was absolutely beautiful, surrounded by stunning alpine scenery. The property itself was outstanding, with modern alpine-style rooms that were cozy and comfortable. While there was no air conditioning, the cool evenings made it perfect to leave the window open for fresh air. The staff at the Alpine Homestead were the highlight of my stay. Jasmina went above and beyond to make us feel like family. She took care of our wet gear after arriving on our motorbike and even washed and dried it for us overnight. The warm welcome with local liquers in the garden area was a lovely touch. The food at the on-site restaurant, prepared by Eddy, was exceptional. Each dish, from the mushroom soup to the beef tenderloin, was better than the last. The included breakfast was also wonderful, with fresh eggs, homemade yogurt, and local cheeses. The Bled area, where the homestead is located, is absolutely beautiful with plenty of scenic roads to explore. I highly recommend Alpine Homestead as the perfect base to explore this picturesque part of Slovenia.
Tourists from South Africa often stay at these properties. Ideas for your future trips.
